My poor mom fell victim to this awful scam today. My father is terminal with Covid in the intensive care unit and she’s trying to purchase a dog in hopes that it will encourage him wake up from his coma get well and have it to come home to. They unfortunately lost their dog just a week before he was admitted into the hospital. After she told me that she used Zell to send someone a payment for a dog over the Internet I started investigating further. A few days after the dog had not been shipped they contacted her to tell her that they had found a direct flight but they needed additional funds for a different type of crate That would be refunded it after the dog was delivered. I believe that a reputable company would cover the cost of the crate, Especially if it’s going to be refunded. I called a person named Jason Olivia 213-282-4514. Works for the animal freight website above. After I told him that we wouldn’t be paying the cost for the crate the company should cover that he said that they had it as a new policy and they were going to work on that with the board of directors going forward. Told him that if they don’t cover the cost that we would wanna refund for the dog. The name of the people selling the dog were named David and Heather phone number 210-610-8860 their address links them to 18926 Calle Cierra, San Antonio Texas. We have not been able to reach the seller to ask for a refund I have made any progress other than animal freight sending us multiple emails encouraging us to make the payment soon so our dog can be shipped today and changing the email for Zelle payment every time.

So now the name has changed to Frontier animal express freight. My wife was scammed by a person selling a French bulldog, and this was the shipping company they used. We paid for the dog up front and a shipping fee, but before the dog was shipped, we were told it would be a $2,350 crate fee. The email said the money would be returned once the dog was delivered. No dog, no money. Beware of this.
