Just got an email from payneevelyn129@gmail.com on Pittsburgh Craigslist regarding two kittens that are posted. The email has photos that are not the same cats as the ad, different genders, and they are claiming relocation as the reason they have to give up the kittens.

Exact same thing, with the Helena, MT address, for 2 French bulldog puppies. Name was Elizabeth Kelli in the email this time though. Son died of cancer, keeping the parents. Would give the puppies away for free, except we just relocated. Will ship them right to your door. Don’t fall for it!

Same scam. Craigslist Houston. Son died of cancer, two puppies Edward and Bella. Seemed off, but it took me a while to locate this info. BEWARE!

I have been in contact with Evelyn Payne from State College Craigslist. The email listed to contact was lora5173@gmail.com then I received a response from payneevelyn129@gmail.com with the same story as previous comments. Goldendoodles, son died of terminal cancer, relocation etc.

Just received the same email from “Evelyn Payne”. Her son just passed away from cancer and she needs to rehome his two golden doodles, Edward and Bella. Luckily, I was warned and the started my own research prior to providing financial information. I hate that people actually do this. It’s ridiculous!

Thank goodness I googled! I found it very stranged and googles them.. same story about son who passed away from cancer. And they want a loving home for the dogs and they would keep the mom and dad.
Asked for a $350 transportation fee and that the puppy would arrive at my doorstep..

Same scam, hooked me in with mother who lost her son to cancer who raised doodles. Very sad!
i hope that they will be going to a great home because my main priority is to get them the best place where they will find peace, love and attention, i will send the babies along side a hand booklet to know the best food for them. Darn, I really wanted a puppy…looks like scam though. I received the following email from this email address: payneevelyn129@gmail.com (Evelyn Payne).

Hi, I am so happy after reading from you.

-She is house Trained and Potty.
-She does not bark a lot.
-She eat 2 times daily
-She Is socialized with kids and other house hold pets .
-She likes to be carried a lot and be spoiled.
-She likes to be kissed .
-She gets angry when you shout at her, so don’t do that.

I have decided to give out this puppy to any one who is ready to take good
care of her and we are happy you are willing to do that for her. All we
need from you is your love for the baby. I really wanted to meet with you
so you can pick up yourself but since you are not in our area and it’s a
distances of about 16 hrs ride on car i don’t know if you will make up the
ride to come pick up today or tomorrow. We just relocate some few weeks ago
to *4025 Lake Point Dr,
Helena, MT 59602**.* Better still if you wouldn’t make it up, she can be
registered to a near by pets transportation company and will be home
