She paid the 500$ and was told we would pay the other half once we received the dog at the airport. Then the “shipping company” repeatedly called our daughter saying that the dog was just getting checked out by the vet and that she needed to send the rest of the money before we got the dog. We asked them to call us instead of our 16year old daughter. They never called…..

Hi Mark North,
If the scammer ask my uncle more money. What should he do? He already paid by Zelle $600 for the pup, $120 delivery, and between $1600-$1700 for the thermal crate. Then they sent information for tracking and confirmed by email the pup will be arriving today but we keep waiting for nothing. What will coming up next?

Everything has been legit and we even had a video sent to us. But the nanny that flies the dog has been rescheduling the flight 2 times already. I guess he works for the airline and gets last minute flights.

I was to buy a puppy from a breeder (or thought she was) and then was notified by the “pet shipper” named: https://deltaairtransport.com/. Email from them: deltaairwayslogisticss@gmail.com (notice the misspelling of logistics and use of gmail). I did several BBB and other web site searches, including the IP address of 68.65.123.43 and it is being hosted by Namecheap, a site all scammers use for this purpose. They have threaten to sue me if I dont pay and the dog will go into some vets office and then they said this: ELECTRONIC CRATE FOR SAFE DELIVERY AND YOUR DEPOSIT PAYMENT IS REFUNDABLE ONCE YOUR PUPPY ARRIVES YOUR LOCATION . Again this is used by all scammers so beware.

They asked for this money before they would ship the dog.
1)FIRST CLASS= $2000+$250 Vaccine=$2050.00

(2)SECOND CLASS= $1700+ $250 Vaccine=$1950.00

(3)THIRD CLASS= $1500+$250 Vaccine=$1750.00

Of course this is a SCAM…

Hi, We just got scammed out of $720.00 It was $550.00 for the pup and $170.00 for him to be shipped. Once we sent the $750.00 by Zelle (which cannot be refunded.) They sent us a tracking web site for when the pup would arrive. Everything seemed ok until a few hours before the pup was to be sent they wanted $1499.00 for a Thermal Crate. That is when I STOPPED because it now felt like a scam, by now I felt sick!!!! I started searching and found what I needed to know this was a scam.

I was almost scammed today from a site called: Delta Trans-Atlantic Pet Movers. When they asked for the money, they kept calling and calling and calling (I may need to change my phone number, but it seems they’ve stopped). Fortunately, I saw red flags and started digging. The site was created 23 days ago. Who gives a Springer Spaniel puppy away for the cost of the flight? I still so wish it was true that I was going to get this beauty and, by preying on those of us who just lost a beloved dog and are vulnerable, they almost got me! I hate thieves!

Can you please let me know if glamgoldenretrievers.com is A scam we just tried buying a golden retriever for $600 and they live far away so they were going to send the dog via flight and then once the target owner/breeder said he got all of our puppy information we have to wait for the airlines to contact us and then pay for the puppy kennel and then it said that we had to pay $950 and we will get a 100% refund but when we called the place It sounded like a scam them Man on the phone wasn’t giving us any information he was just trying to tell us if we pay then we get information

Sent me a tracking number ya ok. Shipping company first emailed me then called me. Wanting a refundable fee of 950. To send to him for a special heated controlled crate. And for insurance. I so upset told him that is joke. I told him to send me a pix of the puppy in the crate. Did not exist. Told me I was going to be arrested for dog abandonment. It’s 2 days after the fact. Trying to still get over this. So aweful. reported to my bank,FBI,and FTC. Totally upsetting. This person needs to be hung from the nearest tree. How can people do this and get away with it. Aweful aweful

Can you please tell me if Havanese Puppies for Good Homes is a scam? They want $100 gift card from Walmart to pay for transportation from Pender airlines and then once the driver gets to my house, I give him a $600 Walmart gift card after receiving the puppy.

Hi Ashley, my advice to you is to at the very least have a videochat with the breeder so they can show you the pet which proves it exists. In the case of this website, it does appear to be fake.

May I send my email correspondence to what I believe is a scam? Fortunately, I did not give out any exact information: i.e.: personal phone, specific address, any banking info.) I also realize his person can do research. When, as you have stated, their correspondence thru email gets more shallow with each email sent. Delta airlines mentioned, location in GA and then changed to Montgomery AL for “shipping base location”, and much more “bait” put out to suck people in!! Their “kind” demeanor changed to curt. They supplied their phone number so I could call (I did not do that) and “move things along”. When I asked if they wanted a cashier’s check, VISA credit card payment or electronic transfer, the response did not answer that specific question. I do not use PayPal, Zelle.
If I can help you in any way to track down these scammers and save others money and heartbreak, please let me know. Sincerely,
