The address will have no connection to the actual scam as they will be an innocent third party Individuals who are looking to buy a dachshund puppy online are being targeted by scammers. These criminals have created a website called Legendminidoxies.com in order to look legitimate. They post adverts on community websites advertising puppys. After you contact the scammers about the puppy, the scammers state that the puppy needs to be transferred to their area and that requires an upfront payment. The prefered payment system is Moneygram, Western Union or Walmart to Walmart but they will accept any form of payment including bitcoin, iTunes vounchers or bank transfer. Do not think that you can trace them if they use bank transfer as they will often use a “mule” who is not aware they are part of a scam. The down payment is then sent via wire transfer. The scammers then ignore your calls and emails or will contact you and tell you that something else has come up and they need further payment for the delivery of the puppy. These criminals are happy for you to give them your Credit Card details which they will later use to empty your account. Of course once you have given them your credit card details they will demand that you pay by wire transfer! Legendminidoxies.com will claim to deliver the puppy using a Scam Delivery company which is actually another scam website they set up in order to steal your money by charging for non existent delivery, a air conditioned travel crate, medical insurance for your puppy as well as multiple other fees. They told me they would fly the puppy from Delaware not Colorado…
I am in the purchasing process, Kenny is the dog I wanted. I’m so sad it’s a scam
I am so glad I did my research because it seemed to good to be true! When I mentioned I was a little uneasy about doing a sale this way I was “reassured” that they are honest people and would never do anything like scamming people out of the hard earned money!!! What a joke.
Total scam. “Dave”’text me regarding Coco about an hour after I requested information. He did not ask for a deposit, but told be I could go pick the puppy up in person or he’d deliver him. He offered to have me pick the puppy up and said they are in Erie CO. I flew to Denver and drove to Erie only to find the address he gave was fake- it was for Erie High School. The number he text me from is 720-634-8304.
I was so close to purchasing Coco!! Their email is [email protected] and the number they used to text me is (702) 825-5273.
Totally as scam! I sadly wired $250 for Coco as a deposit.
I submitted a request for contact on their site this morning and within half an hour to an hour Kevin texted me. 779-253-3890 was the number as well. I mentioned flying out or to have some sort of video chat to meet some of the puppies and Kevin hasn't answered me since.
I’m talking with them now, so they are a scam? 779-253-3890 Here’s the phone number they’re texting me from. He said his name is Kevin. And here the email address [email protected]
This truly is a scam, I have been scammed by these people also! Do not use this site!
